ASoB Silver Jubilee Celebration – Ticket Refund & Cancellation Policy

Overview

All tickets for the Assam Society of Bangalore (ASoB) Silver Jubilee Celebration (“Event”) are non-cancellable and non-refundable once purchased. Please review event details carefully before completing your payment.

No Refunds / No Cancellations

  • No cancellations, exchanges, or refunds will be permitted under normal circumstances.
  • Tickets are non-transferable unless explicitly stated on the ticketing platform or by ASoB in writing.
  • Duplicate bookings, accidental purchases, change of plans, travel issues, illness, weather discomfort, late arrival, or personal emergencies will not qualify for refunds.

Force Majeure (Exceptional Circumstances)

Refunds will be considered only if the Event is cancelled due to a major Force Majeure situation beyond ASoB’s control, such as:

  • Government order, legal restriction, or venue shutdown
  • Natural disasters, severe incidents, or public safety emergencies
  • Large-scale disruptions that make the Event impossible to conduct

In such cases, ASoB may, at its sole discretion:

  • Refund ticket amount (fully or partially), or
  • Offer rescheduling, or
  • Provide credit/adjustment for a future ASoB event

Convenience fees or platform charges (if any) levied by the ticketing partner/payment gateway may be non-refundable, as per their policies.

Event Changes

ASoB reserves the right to make reasonable changes to:

  • Event schedule, artists/performers, program flow, entry gates, seating plan, venue layout, or timings
    Such changes do not qualify for refunds.

Duplicate / Fraudulent Transactions

If your payment is debited multiple times for the same order due to a gateway error, the extra amount (if confirmed) will be processed back to the original payment method after verification.

Refund Processing (If Applicable)

If a refund is approved under Force Majeure:

  • Refunds will be processed to the original mode of payment only
  • Processing time may vary based on the bank/payment gateway timelines
